OH MY GOSH GUYS GUYS GUYS THIS IS MONUMENTAL!!!!! I GOT INTO DENTISTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness let me tell yall about what actually happened. Sarah came over yesterday and coincidentally saw a picture k0i ki@t posted on INSTA showing NUS dentistry in his joint acceptance portal. I was just like "ahhhh I totally knew he would get in" buT THEN Sarah was like "why would he post this instead of the congratulatory letter?? EH eh go check your portal" and I was like "HUH huh wad dat?" Seriously I didn't even know about the existence of that joint acceptance portal thingamajig. I took 10 years to log in because my SMU application number didn't work and I had to dig out my NTU one from eons ago.............AND WHEN I LOGGED IN I WAS SO SHOCKED BECAUSE NUS DENTISTRY WAS THERE!!!!! OMGOMGOMG I WAS SO EXCITED BUT AT THE SAME TIME I TRIED NOT TO GET MY HOPES UP BECAUSE HELLO I HADNT RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION?!? I told only my mom and dad and waited and waited for
4917392 hours. Let me tell you, it was the worst night of my life. I couldn't sleep for fear of the offer turning into "NUS FASS" overnight. My sister - when she heard of my fears - told me to just quickly accept the offer LOL. Of course I didn't....and I still received the notification the next day :))) YIPPEEDEE!
Honestly though, I know I didn't get in by my own effort. I'm just a stupid little average shithead with no merits whatsoever who still wets the bed at the age of 19 (KIDDING!!!!!! If you believe it, you need to change your impression of ME!!! >:((( ). It was Jesus I swear!!!!! He has been with me every step of the way and changed each stumbling block and incident into a lesson from which I can learn and grow. In retrospect, getting into dentistry is really like the ultimate culmination of all the trivialities in my life, even if it may not be apparent to anyone else. Those crazy clay sessions in JH class helped me mold the tooth beautifully. The tan t0ck s3ng hospital program (which I was 99% sure was useless because I didn't even get shortlisted for medicine) taught us MMI skills which were relevant for THE FIRST TIME in the history of dentistry admissions. My super obsession with cleanliness (bordering on mysophobia) helped me answer questions on infection control. And there's also how I got the dental assistant job where I got so much help, advice and knowledge from everyone working there. ITS NOT FATE OR COINCIDENCE OR SOME WEAK SHIT!!!!! And if you don't believe me you ask Jesus when you die lor
^ I typed all the above nearly one month ago!!! I'll just continue. Life has been a mad whirlwind of fun and laughter since then. Jeju was *o-kay* but JAPAN was MAD!!!!! See below for our less-than-aesthetic unreleased pics ;))) the trip was too long for me to give a detailed account but it was definitely memorable. I loved our daily banana investment, pooping rules, binge eating sessions, mad rush from station to station, 7-11 breakfast raids, and
how we transcended the fart barrier on day one :) I honestly cannot put into words how delightful the trip was then and even now for me....just thinking about it puts a warm and sweet feeling in my chest :))))
Tamagotchi store!!! Gosh the saleswoman was so rude to us she probably thought we were from China
Costco wholesale market in Japan?!?
Bae and I circa Edo period

Pompompurin cafe without baby lock yin :(
Zhou family!! Zhi yuan (the boy) was so cheeky and adorable!!! I miss seeing him bite the table and chattering at me in Japanese and showing me his newest toys <3
Anyway, time really flies!!! My first orientation camp will be on Sunday, in 4 days. I'm quite excited yet slightly anxious because of the highly s3xualized forfeits.....I haven't even given away my first kiss yet so I hope I don't have to lick whipped cream off some guys nipple or shit.
In case you're wondering why the title of this post is "Dr.Baby", it's because I wanted to talk about my super fun and crazy attachment with Dr 1y3n!!! But after thinking about the experience, I realized everything was too absurd and the jokes were too lame so it'll just remain a precious memory in the recesses of my mind...
Okay time for bed!!! Going to underwater world tomorrow with granny so BYE and goodnight sweetie pookums thanks for reading this blog even after my 10 year hiatus :)
