On a scale of 1 to 10, how gross are we for entering an art gallery just to take photos like these?
Ahahahaha anyway THIS WEEK HAS BEEN A FUN WEEK!!! It came at the expense of my I&R though HAHAHAHAHAhahahaha *cries* BUT! It was totally worth it. First I went out with Grace and Jieying! We were supposed to go to the new library@orchard (IS THIS WHY THEY CALLED IT LIBRARY@ORCHARD?!? FOR IT TO FIT BEAUTIFULLY INTO A SENTENCE LIKE THAT) but we couldn't find it and were hungry so we ended up having lunch and gossiping at Popeye's for more than an hour HAHAHAHAHA. Then I realized I was late for Pw and rushed off BUT on the bus sixuan suddenly texted saying that it had been cancelled so Jieying and I spontaneously decided to alight at Dempsey. It was too spontaneous for the passengers on the bus apparently; they looked disturbed as we giggled and stomped all the way from the back of the bus to the door.
On a completely unrelated note, I have decided to try to be more dainty!!! No more swearing and saying "shit", "ass", "butthole", ETC.!!! If you catch me saying any swear words, you have to punch me immediately!!!
Back to the Dempsey story, the two of us invaded all the art galleries in the area!!! At the second art gallery there was this really RUDE woman (dressed in an artsy dress; she most probably worked there) who entered just as we left and in the split second that we walked past, she stared us down from head to toe, looking at our uniform with disdain and contempt. People like that are so disgusting...art can and should be appreciated by all. Even if we are sad and broke students who can't afford a single art piece in that gallery until maybe 10 years down the road, us going into an art gallery is completely justified! ART IS FOR ALL!!! If you think otherwise, I will refer you to the works of Banksy in the hopes of changing your buttheaded thinking.

A few days after that I went out with DA otaku gang aka Lockin' and Jolene! :D OBVIOUSLY AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE MASTERFULLY EDITED PIC (DONE BY YOURS TRULY) WE WENT TO WATCH THE LAST RUROUNI KENSHIN MOVIE!!
I wanna talk about how touching and romantic (in the medieval-patriotic sense) the movie was but I don't even know where to start. So I'll just start with the actors. SATOH TAKERU WAS AN AMAZING RUROUNI KENSHIN. A little too good looking, but everything else about him screamed "PEACE-LOVING SAMURAI"!!! And the action scenes!!!!!! They left me breathless. I looooOoOoOoOved all his raw and intense expressions and emotions especially his anguish at the start when he thought Kaoru was dead OMG THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME HAVE HEART PALPITATIONS!!! I think this part of him was what made the movie so perfect. Throughout the whole movie you can literally FEEL him struggling with his inner demons, and you're left wondering if his yearning for a life of peace and love can ever be fulfilled. I mean, it's obvious that there'll be a happy ending, but his acting just makes the ending even more satisfying. I could feel my heart melting at the ending........................Sigh. I really need to stop thinking about it. REAL LIFE ISNT EVER LIKE A MOVIE!!! I have to keep reminding myself of that, lest I have unrealistic expectations of the future.
After the movie we ate at Black Ball!! My dessert cost $4.90 and to be honest I'D CHOOSE BLACK BALL OVER LLAO LLAO ANY DAY. I mean seriously. Froyo is totally overrated and overpriced. The only difference between Sogurt, Llao Llao and other froyo outlets is the quality of the froyo. The taste generally remains the same. BUT THE DESSERT AT BLACK BALL!!!! It was flavourful and nothing at all like anything I've ever tasted!!! Even the shaved ice tastes different!!! And the flavoured balls!!! Nomtious.
Anyway I am dead broke now so I probably won't be going out for the next few days. BYE
