A daisy amongst roses

Mmmmm do you ever get the feeling that you're never ever going to be as outstanding as the people around you? I don't know why, but recently I've been feeling that. Somehow, when I'm at home, I get the aura that my parents think my sister is the only one with a bright future. And when I'm in school it feels like everyone knows everything except me. And all the KI students write incredibly well while I'm just sort of derping along. As Ethan would say, "I'm depressingly average." It sucks being able to envision getting AABB or something stupid like that for A levels and being stuck behind a desk at a 9-hour job that I'll probably hate when I'm all grown-up. Hmmm. But at the same time it's not just about getting all As. I dunno, but I don't get much satisfaction from that. Sure, I like it when people call me prof. Foo, but I want to achieve something bigger and better with my life. I'm just not sure of what yet. Eh. I hope I get an opportunity to do something cool soon. K going to sleep now. I should stop thinking so much about the future when I'm lying on my bed in a towel.

Yeah I drew this expecting it to be real nice but to be honest it fell below my expectations. I think that's the problem. Without even realizing it, my expectations for myself just kept getting higher and higher and higher...and now I'm unsatisfied with everything. Maybe that's how I'll be from now on. Unfulfilled and unhappy. K seriously going to put on some clothes now.

Ugh ANNOYED!!! I feel so wronged and insulted _|_ Just because my tastes have changed and I start liking ombré doesn't make me a wannabe popz kid and neither does not wanting to carry around my mont blanc wallet make me "conscious of how others view me". It's totally natural for a person's tastes to change over the course of her life, don't you think so?!?! If I liked what I liked 10 years ago I would still be wearing a teletubby tank top and that would just be stupid. I think some people just can't accept it when the people around them change. They're upset that we're not playing the role that they have in mind for us, and to be honest, these people are TOXIC. I know it's irrational to get pissed when they say "why do you suddenly start liking mainstream shit/why u trying to be jockey/ why u trying to be cool" but the contemptuous lip-curl that follows just BEGS for a punch. Change doesn't necessarily call for a label and I'm really really tired of how dumbshits question my every move. I KNOW I've changed a lot recently in many different ways, but I'm still me. Me wanting to look good (for once) or be fit doesn't change how I behave or treat others.

Ugh ok I said all that but sometimes I wonder if the people around me also think like that? I really hate this feeling of being unsure about what mah poops think. I don't think it's about being overly- concerned about others' opinions, but I wouldn't want the people I love to think any less of me. Isn't it loverly

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I've been spending my holidays well, and proof of that is that I WENT OUT A LOT THIS PAST WEEK!!!!

Ahahahaha I honestly thought I was going to be an antisocial stay-at-home sim-lovin' loser for the whole of June, but THANKFULLY!!!!!! Neka called me out after she finished her chemistry paper. She brought me to a place where I lost...... my Llao Llao vurginity............
HAHAHHAHAA GROSS WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY "Llao Llao virginity"????? I get that they're trying to express the idea of a "virgin experience" but THAT PHRASE ALWAYS MAKES ME LAUGH. Anyway, after finishing our yumilicious sanum, we watched Maleficent!!! Angelina Jolie suited her role really well. BUT HER CHEEKBONES WERE UNNATURALLY HIGH!! Especially at the part where she soared into the clouds. I could literally hear the word "cheekbones" ripple through the theatre. Anyway, the ending was quite disappointing. I thought the movie was supposed to explain Maleficent's actions but it didn't even cohere with the Prince-and-princess-get-married-and-lives-happily-ever-after version. And Aurora WAS SO GODDAMNED ANNOYING!!! I FELT LIKE THROWING MY POPCORN AT HER AND SHOUTING "STOP DAT DAMNED GIGGLING" WHENEVER SHE APPEARED!!!! Seriously, Angeline Jolie was the only decent actress in the movie. Oh yes, I rather liked the crow, but my budding love for him was arrested and destroyed at the very start by the horrendous squeals emitted by some annoying pre-teens seated behind us. Much to the sadness of humanity, the smartest of that lot was only capable of uttering phrases not exceeding 4 words, such as "omfg he so hot" and "SQUEEEEEEEEEE cute!!1!1!1!!!" Needless to say, their barbaric utterances ruined the cinematic atmosphere. :(

OHYEAH before that we went to Kinokuniya!!! I bought 2 books: The picture of Dorian Gray and some book by Friedrich Nietzsche! I've just finished reading the former. It was dramatically tragic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But the other book looks pretty tough. Maybe I'll read it after I get my PhD.

My next outing was with Grace! It was a beachside carnival SPECIALLY 4 BLOOD DONORS ONLY but Grace brought me along as a guest! How sweet! The games and fringe activities were pretty fun, BUT I SUSPECT THE GAMES WERE RIGGED!!!! We played a total of 9 games and won ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Okay maybe it's because the two of us lack dart-throwing or lasso-looping or any sort of carnival-related skill, BUT STILL!!! They should at least make the games easier :'( Anyway the whole beach atmosphere was pretty relaxing. For some reason, there were Star Wars characters walking about everywhere?!?!? The Han Solo and Obi Wan Kenobi cosplayers were failures, the former more so than the latter because he was Asian. And he looked more like a character out of some Chinese mafia drama. Out of pity, I asked to take a picture with the two of them.

At the end, we got some ice cream and sat at the beach to chill. As expected, nothing can match up to the feeling of having sand between one's toes.

We went back to Vivocity to have lunch!! It was there that Grace introduced me to the KOUFU CARD!!!!! Basically it's sort of like a debit card that can only be used at Koufu. AND IT'S PRETTY COOL BECAUSE YOU GET 10% OF EVERYTHING!!!!! I NEVER KNEW IT EXISTED!!!!

Ahahahha ANYWAY my latest outing was with mah BFTS!!! We ate lunch at Yoshinoya and then went to watch HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2!!!! WEHHHH I WAS DEVASTATED WHEN [spoiler] STOIC DIED!!!!! :'(((( But it was a pretty good movie. I especially liked how Ruffnut had more of a personality. The only thing I DIDN'T like was how there was no closure on the villain's part!!! I really think the bloodfist guy didn't die!! And neither did the first alpha dragon.

After the movie we went to eat Llao Llao (again)!!!!! I shouldn't eat it so often because when I think about it now it doesn't seem as yumilicious as it was before. I'd much rather have a chocolate lava cake topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Okok after that we walked around Kinokuniya for 3 seconds until Jieying had to go home.

THE VERY NEXT DAY WAS ART CLUB CAMP!!!!! OMG the CIP was boring as hell BUT I HAD SOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH FUN AT NIGHT WITH EVERYONE!!!! We got to eat Kettle chips and lays and Doritos on our sleeping bags while watching Hot Fuzz!!! HAHHAHAHA IT WAS A GOOD COMEDY. For once, the jokes didn't fall flat and it sort of looked promising. But the plot sucked and the special effects seriously SUCKED. That's not to say it isn't a good movie :)))))))) THE MOVIE ENDED AT 12 AND LOCKIN, HUINING AND I PLAYED BRIDGE AND SABOTEUR WITH YOM BO SUNG AND THE 2 SENIORS UNTIL 3AM!!!!! MAD!!!!!!!! We didn't even get scolded or anything. Ahhhh it was honestly fun. Totally unlike band camp. OHYA In the morning we lazed around and played cards and had breakfast in bed until 10.30!!!! LOL!!!!! I know what you're thinking. "That sounds so lazy" BUT THE LAZY LIFE IS FOR ME OK NO DISCRIMINATION PLS

I'm a sucker for sweet things

OMG shit today is SUCH A GREAT DAY IT FEELS LIKE A DREAM!!!! Woke up at 8 to collect my town revenue in Sims and then I went back to sleep until 11.30. After that I ate lunch and watched the last Gintama movie, I.e.: BE FOREVER YOROZUYA!!!!! Although there were some dirty jokes I still thought it was quite funny!!! Especially the part where everyone thought Gintoki was a p3n15 because of the disguise thingamajig. Wait that's nearly the whole movie. HAHAHA. But it was really touching too!! The last part made me wanna cry </3 Sigh I wish I was part of the YOROZUYA!!! Oh crap I just remembered my dad asked me if it was a nice movie and I said "yeah haha I loved it" NOW HE'LL THINK IM A PERVERT FOR WATCHING MOVIES LIKE THAT!!!! HALP!!!!!!!

Ahahahhaa anyway MY EXAMS ARE OVER, LIKE 4 REAL!!!! Phew. No more severe heart palpitations HAHAHAHA. I think KI was sort of manageable. "Sort of" because I could've done better for paper 2. But math was easy! Wait I shouldn't say that or people will laugh at me if I don't get an A. I just hope I didn't make any careless mistakes. LOL I feel sad for the people who sat near to me because I coughed at least once every minute and I shuffled my feet and shifted my chair quite a lot!!! Ugh ohyeah stupid shit-know-who kept disturbing me during the exam?!? I forgot to put my ez link on the table and she forced me to take it out of my bag which is quite pointless BECAUSE I'M HER STUDENT ITS NOT EVEN LIKE SHE CANT RECOGNIZE ME?!? And she just had to check my calculator model WHEN I WAS USING IT!!! I nearly told her to fak off!!! Ugh thinking about it makes me soooooo mad. I really need the A+ this time to show her I may be a delinquent but at least I'm not stupid!!!

Sigh I'm really thankful for KI and Mr Ben. It's the only subject I enjoy in JC and he's the only teacher I've never gotten annoyed with cos he's so chill. Yesterday he came to skool in shorts and slippers!!! And he just left me in the library to do the exam which is quite unorthodox because I THOUGHT HE WOULD SIT IN A CORNER AND EYEBALL ME SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE A NORMAL TEACHER!!! BUT OF COURSE HE IS NOT A NORMAL TEACHER!!!! AND OF COURSE I DID NOT TAKE MY FREEDOM FOR GRANTED BECAUSE I AM A GIRL WITH INTEGRITY!!!1!!!1!1!!11! DAMMIT WHY CANT ALL TEACHERS BE LIKE THAT?!? I HATE HOW THEY ALWAYS ACT ALL SUPERIOR AND THEY TREAT STUDENTS LIKE SHITHEADS!!!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD GROW UP TO BE LIKE MR BEN!!! THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL THERE BE HOPE FOR THE FUTURE!!!!!!
